Are you a Point Person?

We have asked each church to send us the name of a "point person," perhaps the mission committee chairman or someone else with a passion for the mission of the Church. We hope that this volunteer will look at this site at least once or twice a month to see what is new. Occasionally we will directly e-mail the point person of news that is urgent. For instance, during the first days of the Tsunami crisis we could have put people in touch with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA). Many Presbyterians are unaware of how efficient, responsible and networked our PDA is. During those first days, PDA, through its partners in Southeast Asia, was able to get assistance out almost immediately. In such a case, we would get in touch with the point persons immediately and suggest what action to take. To volunteer as the point person for your congregation, please write myongsook@aol.com.
