A New Partnership in Africa

Since approval by its October meeting, Mission Presbytery has formally joined hands with a presbytery in Africa with a similar name: the Luebo-Mission Presbytery. This presbytery is in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where American Presbyterians have had missionaries since the 19th century.

In July of 2006 a team from our presbytery traveled to Luebo to consult with the leaders in Luebo-Mission Presbytery on the agreement. Several on this team would be happy to talk with your church about this new relationship.
